What is the oldest zoo in New York City?

The Central Park Zoo (CPZ), which is in fact the oldest zoo in New York City, was researched and featured in response to a question posed by an imagined children’s magazine. To engage a young audience, playful elements such as a coloring section and characters were included. This project aimed to give a well-rounded educational overview of the CPZ. I visited the zoo and spoke with a volunteer and animal keeper, who gave further insight into the zoo in present day.
